FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR!

ATTN members: The first meeting of the year is going to be held at Lindt Chocolate in Stratham, NH on  Thursday, September 27th 2018 at 6:00PM!

Topic: Road to Zero Accidents- A Continuous Improvement Approach to Safety Management

Description: This presentation will focus on the approach to Safety in an organization committed to continuous improvement and Zero Loss Culture. We will briefly review the lean manufacturing system and the framework for the Safety Pillar. We will dive into how this approach obliges us to perform detailed accident investigation (RCA), Analyze Risk, Accidents, and drive improvement to consistently improve safety. A tour on the plant floor of an Accident Reduction Project will follow.

2018 Safety Professional of the Year (SPY) nominations now being accepted

The Granite State Chapter – Safety Professional of the Year Award is designed to recognize a chapter member for outstanding accomplishments in the safety and health profession.  This award is based on peer nominations, and is selected using a number of factors including:demonstrated technical knowledge, involvement in the chapter/society, professional contributions to advance the profession, innovations, leadership, and other personal achievements related to safety & health.
